Nestled in the historic district of downtown Guthrie, Oklahoma, The Victor Hotel sits on the corner of West Harrison and 1st street. A venue unlike any other in Oklahoma, The Victor radiates an ambience that screams speakeasy glamor. The 1920’s historical feel will surely leave you and your guests feeling like you’re in some sort of old time romantic film. The owner was lovely and so welcoming to our group. Truly, any couple deciding to recite their nuptials here will have a unique wedding experience unlike any other.
The creative community in the Oklahoma City area is full of soooo many wonderful people. In the short amount of time I’ve been on the scene I’ve already made a ton of friends, which has been amazing. For this shoot, luckily I was invited by a previous model I had worked with to attend this collaboration. Working at The Victor was absolutely a fun change of pace from shooting multiple barn weddings in a row, (which of course I always love- but variety IS the spice of life). It most definitely had me feeling some type of way-
My goal for these photos was to capture the spirit of the unique bride. The classy, timeless, and romantic. To delve into the past, if only for a moment.
